Rose quartz is a well know variation of quartz, easily identifiable due to its rose pink colouration, these fine crystalline mineral specimens are ideal as gifts, collectors, enthusiast and for use in education. These samples come from Namibia, Africa and the colour is due to iron impurities during the time that the quartz was forming, which tends to be a hydrothermal mineral and forms in veins. These specimens are very crystalline and may have sharp edges, care is advise when handling. They come in lots of 1 kilogram weights and are supplied in a polythene bag with a label, the pieces inside vary between 20 mm to 70 mm and are ideal for when large quantities are required for an economical price.
