Sycostoma Pyrus gastropod mollusc collected from the Eocene Barton Beds in Barton, Hampshire. These gastropods lived in shallow, subtropical seas and their thin, delicate and smooth shell suggests that they lived in a quieter, low energy marine setting. These specimens are in good condition and we have two sizes available: Small specimens measure approximately 2 cm in length from the base of the aperture to the apex of the shell. The larger gastropods measure approximately 5 cm in length and all specimens are supplied in small plastic bags with an information label.
