Turritella subarchimedes gastropod mollusc collected from Pliocene sediments in Huelva, Spain. Turritella is a genus of marine gastropod mollusc and although these specimens date back 5.3 to 2.6 Mya, the genus is still alive today. These specimens exhibit the classic turreted shell shape with a long spire, numerous whorls and a pointy apex. They are in very good condition and approximately measure between 5 and 6 cm in length. Supplied in small plastic bags with an information label.
