Discoverer® Series 3 Core Tray Options

We are delighted to be able to offer the option of Discoverer® S3 Recycled Plastic Core Trays. Discoverer® Core Trays are one of the most well known and reliable brands of core trays, being used by geologists worldwide since 1993. It is widely regarded as the best plastic core tray, due to its impressive strength and durability.

Discoverer® Core Tray Lids and Clips

• The plastic lid has been manufactured to suit the Discoverer® Series 2, 3 and 4 Core Trays (except the 4C Plastic Core Trays as they are narrower).
• Each tray has been built to protect your core from the elements. They have the same proven longevity in the field as the trays and can withstand the harshest mine conditions.
• Only one lid is required for the top of a stack, as the rest of the trays beneath will be protected by the tray above it.
• The lids should be used in conjunction with Discoverer® Lid Clips. These clips are used to affix the lids to the tray.
• Four clips are needed per lid in order to securely attach it to the tray.
