Pink dolomite crystal beds from Morocco which are of high quality showing the typical tri-rhombohedral curved faces as expected from dolomite crystals. The colouration for this variation of dolomite is due to the presence of manganese during formation, another similar mineral would be mangano calcite which also has a similar pink hue. These mineral specimens also have larger crystals than the brown coloured dolomite from the UK, as such, the curved faces of the crystals can clearly be seen, even without the use of magnification. The specimens are available in 3 sizes and come supplied in a card tray with an information label.
