Marcasite nodule mineral specimens from France. Marcasite is an iron sulfide mineral sometimes known as white pyrite, like pyrite it has a brassy colouration and metallic lustre though somewhat duller than pyrite. It is also known for nodules it forms in which when split open show a radiating structure of prismatic fibrous crystals, such as the specimens which we supply which come from France. Specimens are supplied in a card tray with an information label.
