Description
Breithaupt Kassel, renowned for precision instruments, presents the GEBRU transit global compass clinometer. Similar to the GeKom models, this instrument utilises a reliable stratum compass azimuth dial and needle. It offers dip and strike readings using the Dr. Clar method. This method employs a hinge inclinometer with 1° graduations, enabling quick and easy readings. Additionally, the GEBRU features a manually operated clinometer with a spirit level for the Brunton method. Its rugged aluminised housing, made in one piece, resists magnets and water, ensuring durability. The dial is protected by scratch-resistant perspex, and a locking mechanism secures the needle for viewing in awkward positions. With the Brunton method, the GEBRU enables topographical measurements. Adjusting declination is straightforward, and a circular bubble level ensures horizontal placement. The flip-open side includes a sighting mirror. Breithaupt Kassel, known for excellence, manufactures this instrument in Germany.
