A tungsten carbide scriber for geophysical testing of minerals, performing scratch tests in the field according to the Mohs scale of hardness. Tungsten carbide is at 9 on the mohs scale of hardness and so this scriber is more suitable for harder minerals. Knurling along the body gives users extra grip and the built in magnet will allow for magnetic testing of iron bearing material. The tip is reversible for safe storage and a pocket clip allows for placing in your shirt pocket or along a notebook.

An excellent economical geologist pick rock hammer for use when undertaking field work. This tool is ideal for the breaking or rocks or massive mineral as well as the extraction of crystals or fossils from matrix. It weighs in at 866 grams, with a head weight of 624 grams (1 lb) and an overall length of 331 mm. Making it small and lightweight to take anywhere without encumbering one too much.
