Description

The Corewise Automatic Core Saw is renowned for being the safest and most practical core cutting machine available. It pulls together years of industry experience from the engineers and technicians at Corewise as well as building upon the latest operational innovations and safety procedures. Capable of accepting BQ, NQ, HQ and PQ core on the same core guide, as well as being the only saw that takes PQ  core guide with lids, the Corewise continues to stand out as the pinnacle of practicality, safety and efficiency.

Direct Drive System

The Corewise core saw now incorporates a direct drive system, making it faster, safer and more reliable. In a direct drive system, the motor is directly connected to the blade through a coupling or shaft. This direct connection eliminates much of the torque loss that's associated with  v-belt drives, which the Corewise Core Saw previously utilised. This increased torque results in a 30% faster cutting speed, as well as no loss of power. In addition, the direct drive system also results in increased operational safety, by reducing back spray from the blade. Furthermore, the new mist guard also gives off little to no silica mist. Finally, this new drive system is cheaper to run and maintain since there are no belts to replace. This therefore results in no downtime for maintenance. Combining this with a feed system that enables instant feeding of core by the operator, allows for continuous working hours, and an increase in efficiency and reliability.

Durability, Efficiency and Safety

The Corewise Automatic Core Saw is a premium construction, designed and built in Australia from both galvanised and stainless steel. All internal bolts are also made from stainless steel, to further increase the lifespan of the machine. It features aluminium composite sheet panels, which stops vibration and reduces noise levels. This therefore reduces wear and tear on parts, whilst also contributing to increased comfort for the operator. The prescence of an anti-jam system ensures that whether in forward or reverse, the machine will never jam.

Another addition to the core saw is a proximity sensor, which automatically cuts the power when body parts come into contact with the blade area, or when the blade housing is lifted. Moreover, this is complimented by a dynamic braking system, which ensures the blade stops immediately. These measures are the difference between absolute safety and loss of limbs or fatal accidents.

Practicality and Ingenuity

The Corewise features an LCD screen which monitors the motors whilst the saw is operational. Additionally, the screen also advises the correct feed speed for various hardness of core. All control buttons have also been fitted away from wet areas.

Re-Circulation Tank

Designed for use alongside the core saw, is the 200 litre water re-circulation tank. It is constructed from powder coated aluminium with 3 stage setting tanks, a 240v submersible pump with float switch, a filter mesh basket, lid and hose with fittings. This tank is ideal for use in areas with a limited water supply. Simply install and fill the tank with water, then plug one end of the hose to the pump, and the other to the connector piece on the blade hood and start the pump. This ensures a constant water supply and source of cooling to your blade, which is necessary for its optimum lifespan.

Engine

The 3-Phase Corewise features a high efficiency 7.5kw (10hp) electric engine. This allows it to cut through hard core, as well as ensuring a longer blade life.

Power Supply

The Corewise can be fitted with various hardware to ensure compatibility with most overseas power supplies. If you are using the saw remotely, then a 20KVA generator will run the 3-phase saw, which comes with a 3m power lead and a 20 amp, 4 pin, 3-phase plug. You will need to ensure the generator has a socket which will accept this size plug.

Core Guides

The machine will handle all standard core sizes which are used within the geological and mining industry, (BQ - PQ size cores). The V-Core Guide can handle competent core of sizes HQ, NQ and NQ2. Meanwhile, broken core guides are also available for individual sizes, allowing you to cut highly fragmented or broken cores as well.

Warranty
The Corewise is backed by a 12-month warranty that covers the motor, gearbox and components. Blades and chains are not covered.
