Introducing our range of Geological Thin Sections. Each of these microscope slides have been produced from our very own stock of rocks and minerals, ensuring their authenticity. Each slide is made to a thickness of 30 microns and measures 46 x 27 mm in size. Every thin section also features a glass cover slip. They are suitable for use with petrological microscopes in both plain and cross polarised light (PPL and XPL).

Additionally, we also possess the ability to create thin sections for use with a scanning electron microscope (SEM). These slides are highly polished and feature no glass cover slip. Since this is a custom service, it is available for bulk orders only. Please contact us via email or through our Contact Us page if this is something you are interested in.
