Harpoceras ammonite fossils, popular for educational use and collectors, these creamed coloured ammonites have a faint form of ribbing in their shells, closer inspection also shows that they exhibit ammonitic suture lines which are numerous and show a lobed and saddle pattern, typical of ammonoids from the Jurassic to Cretaceous periods. Remains have been found almost all over the world, however, they appear to be very widespread in Europe, these particular specimens were collected from Ilminster in Somerset, UK and exhibit the typical morphological details expected, Suitable for children, serious collectors and for educational use, we can supply this species in a range of grades and sizes to best suit your needs, each fossil will come supplied in a card tray with an information label.

Hildoceras ammonite fossil specimens found in Ilminster, Somerset, UK, they exhibit a narrow with shallow ribbing and ammonitic suture lines, they lived during the Upper lias of the Jurassic period, 200 to 180 million years ago. Our samples are a dark beige colour and are available in various sizes and grades, ideal for educational use, collectors and children due to the features shown and their inexpensive cost. They fossil will come supplied in a card tray with a label.
Perisphinctes are an extinct species of ammonite which lived during the lower Jurassic period, 163 to 145 million years ago. The animal could grown from anywhere between 10 mm to over a meter in diameter, making them among the largest of the ammonites. Their shells exhibit excellent morphological features such as clear, distinct ribbing and occasionally, well defined ammonitic suture lines, among the near perfect coil shape, it could be said that perisphinctes are the text book ammonite. These specimens are 1.5″ – 2″ in size and come supplied in a white card tray with information label.

A fossil specimen of the fossil rugose coral phillipsastrea ananas found in Ramlia, Southern Morocco. The specimen is from the Devonian period and is approximately 350/360 m years old.
Ogyginus comdensis was a species of asaphid trilobites from the Ordovician period, and found in abundance in Wales. They were characterised by their squat, rounded bodies. These specimens are preserved within a mud stone matrix, some of which has been polished, but all of which has been cut to display the fossils in their entirety. A perfect specimen for analysis of different orders of trilobite if purchased along side a more common variation, these fossils could also be used as a display piece. All fossils are provided with a white card tray and information label.
