Ornithella digona is an extinct species of brachiopod which lived during the Jurassic period, particularly the Bathonian age, between 168 to 166 million years ago.They are a small sized brachiopod shell, these particular fossil specimens have been cleaned so are free of matrix, they are available in 2 sizes, and measure between 1 to 2.5 cm in size. They were collected from Langton Herring in Dorset, UK, supplied in a packet with an information label.
