A display specimen of an Dactylioceras commune positive with two negatives from Scarborough, UK. This sample is a nodule which broke to reveal a central positive section with two outer negatives, this has created a specimen which gives an excellent view of the fossils structure and detail. These fossils date back to the lower Jurassic period, they are a well known and popular fossil specimen, their tightly, even coiled shells, black colouration and constant ribbing make them the text book fossil specimen. The sample is supplied in a 4″ x 3″ white card tray, it weighs roughly 209 grams and measures approximately 5.5 x 6 x 5 cm. This piece is perfect for any beginner fossil collector, but could also make an excellent teaching aid.

A high quality matching pair siderite nodule containing a Lepidostrobus (cone) plant fossil with a leafy stem. The specimens are 6cm x 4.5cm and come in a white card tray with an information label. These species are uncommon, and has not been damaged during cracking of the nodule.

Specimens of polished perisphinctes from Tulear, Madagascar. Preisphinctes are an extinct species of ammonite which lived during the lower Jurassic period, 163 to 145 million years ago. Samples are available in two sizes and are supplied in a white card tray with an information label.
Cut and polished ammonite pairs, collected from Madagascar. Ammonites are one of the most distinctive and popular fossils in the world due to their distinctive spiral shell. These specimens are examples of their shells that have been cut and polished in order to show their inner workings. These specimens include both Desmoceras and Cleoniceras which both lived during the Lower Cretaceous period, approximately 110 – 102 million years ago. Each section measures approximately 3cm and come packaged as a pair in a polythene bag with information label.
This specimen of Perisphinctes from Poitou, France shows everything of what one would expect from a typical ammonite fossil. The specimen is from the Jurassic period, Callovian and is 9cm in diameter.
