Stephanoceras sp. Ammonite fossil collected from the Bajocian sediments of Hildesheim, Germany which are approximately 168 to 170 Mya. This genus of ammonite have evolute shells with prominent ribs. Although fossils of the genus have been found measuring up to 27 cm in diameter, these particular examples measure 1 to 2 cm in diameter. Each specimen is supplied in a small plastic bag with an information label.
