Partial Trinucleus fimbratus trilobite fossil, mid Ordovician in age, approx 465 million years old, found in Builth Wells, Wales. Only the cephalopod (head) of the trilobite is preserved but small pits around the head can be clearly seen, these are thought to have be used to detect movement and prey in dark, deep waters where eyes would have been useless. The specimens come in various sizes and are well preserved within a shale matrix and is supplied in small plastic bag with an information label.

Lewisian gneiss metamorphic rock samples exhibiting asymmetrical plunging folds, ideal for educational use, the specimens come from Scotland, UK and are, some 3.0–1.7 billion years old, dating back to the Precambrian period. Honey calcite mineral specimens from Mexico which exhibit a yellow to orange colouration due to impurities of iron from the mineral hematite. The specimens are crystalline in nature and can exhibit a rough rhombic form as expected of calcites. They are translucent, letting some but not all light through, which gives them an eye catching ‘glow’. The samples are ideal for enthusiasts, hobbyists and collectors and are available in various sizes. This honey calcite is available by weight, starting from 500 grams, and is suitable for lapidary, educational and enthusiasts use. The pieces vary from 20 mm to 100 mm, though most pieces will sit in-between and come supplied in a polythene bag with a label.
