Pyrrhotite mineral specimens from Evje, southern Norway, the samples are grey in colour and and have a metallic lustre which is very shiny when a fresh surface is exposed, however, these surfaces dull very quickly upon exposure to the air. Noticiably magnetic like magnetite, this iron sulphide mineral is fairly dense, was collected by staff from Norway and is available in a small size only. Supplied in a 2″ x 2″ card tray with a label.

Pyrrhotite, mineral specimens which were collected by staff from Evje, Southern Norway, it is a grey coloured mineral with a metallic lustre which can dull upon exposure to the air. Along with magnetite, they are the only two minerals which are also noticably magnetic. These particular specimens are only available in 2″ x 2″ size pieces and stock is now limited. The samples have a blocky texture and are fairly dense as they are an iron sulphide mineral. Available in various sizes and come supplied in a white card tray with an information label.

These specimens are individual cubes of pyrite which demonstrate the signature cubic crystal structure.
