Sauropods were the largest land animals to ever live. They are characterised by their size, long necks and long tails. These specimens, which were found in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, UK are individual vertebra belonging to an unknown species (likely to be Cetiosaurus or Ischyrosaurus) from the Kimmeridgian stage of the Jurassic Period. An essential part to any fossil collection, these bone specimens allow acute analysis of the interior bone structure and provide rough genuine texture to the fossil.

These dinosaur vertebrae fossils belonged to one of two species of sauropod, large, heavy four legged long necked dinosaurs, Ischyrosaurus or Cetiosaurus which lived during the Jurassic period over 150 million years ago. Found in Abingdon, Oxfordshire in the UK. The samples exhibit the expected disc like design with concave surfaces where other tissue would have been. Excellent for serious fossil collectors.

These dinosaur bone fragments are fossils which belonged to one of two species of sauropod, large, heavy four legged long necked dinosaurs, Ischyrosaurus or Cetiosaurus which lived during the Jurassic period over 150 million years ago. Found in Abingdon, Oxfordshire in the UK. The samples exhibit parts of the dinosaurs anatomy which from these pieces, is too difficult to determine, however, the pieces do show the colour and texture of the fossils, an excellent attribute for serious collectors or educational use.

A fascinating display piece of an Ichthyosaur Vertebrae, collected from Abingdon, Oxfordshire in the UK. This specimen is from the genus Brachypterygius, and dates to approximately 157 – 152 Ma. Ichthyosaur’s are an order of large ancient marine reptiles, that went extinct around 95 million years ago. This is an example of one if its vertebrae, which is a group of individual bones which interlock to form the spinal column. This superb specimen measures approximately 9 x 9 x 3cm at its widest and longest points. It measures approximately 400 grams.
