Polyester Sentry sample bags, measuring 5 x 7 inches, actively allow liquids such as water or moisture to pass through without compromising the integrity of the samples inside. The bags efficiently drain out water or facilitate evaporation over time. They can withstand high temperatures in laboratory ovens, making them suitable for various scientific applications.
These sentry bags boast a robust fabric that withstands tough field conditions. These bags are smaller in time, making them suitable for holding specimens up to 3kg. Featuring an open top, they can be securely closed using a drawstring that utilizes a nylon cord. Simply pull the cord to tightly seal the bag shut.
Designed for the collection of geochemical soil samples, these bags also accommodate rough aggregates and mineral ores. Each bag incorporates a sewn-in printed Tyvek label, offering ample space for adding additional notations. This ensures effective organization and documentation of samples.
We also supply a range of sampling bags in other materials. You can view our full collection of bags here.

The Ruper hand lens is a renowned magnifier loupe favored by professionals and long-time enthusiasts across various industries. This specific jewelry loupe provides 10x magnification along with a spacious 20mm viewing field, helping reduce eye strain. It also allows users to examine a wide area at once. This Ruper model delivers exceptional clarity in vision thanks to its doublet design with aplantic optics. This means it utilises a combination of concave and convex optical glass to minimize the effects of spherical aberrations.
It’s worth emphasising that Ruper lenses are indeed doublets, despite common misconceptions and sellers’ claims of them being triplets. Their crafting process uses exclusively two optical lenses and a spacer. The lens comes in a stainless steel body with a chrome finish, displaying the ‘Ruper’ name on one side. Another premium magnifier and loupe from this esteemed Japanese brand, it proves invaluable for professionals and enthusiasts in fields like geology, crystallography, and sedimentology for enhanced viewing of rocks, minerals, fossils, and crystals. Additionally, it aids in botanical observations, entomological studies for detailed insect examination, as well as jewelry-making, faceting, and gemstone scrutiny, among other applications where magnification is essential. It comes with a faux leather case. Made in Japan.
