A tungsten carbide scriber for geophysical testing of minerals, performing scratch tests in the field according to the Mohs scale of hardness. Tungsten carbide is at 9 on the mohs scale of hardness and so this scriber is more suitable for harder minerals. Knurling along the body gives users extra grip and the built in magnet will allow for magnetic testing of iron bearing material. The tip is reversible for safe storage and a pocket clip allows for placing in your shirt pocket or along a notebook.

Turqoise mineral specimens of a low grade from South Africa, a well known mineral due to its semi precious status, its colour is due to the presence of oxidised copper within, which turns turqoise. Samples are supplied in a card tray with an information label.
Turquerenite gemstone bottles filled with beautiful, calming sky blue coloured mineral chips of howlite which have been dyed. Around 25 ml of material is contain in the 50 x 30 cm glass bottles, their size makes them excellent gifts, especially in stockings on Christmas.

Tyvek is a form of flash spun high-density polyethylene fibers, a synthetic material that is very strong, difficult to tear; waterproof, breathable and can withstand temperatures safely up to 117 degrees Celsius. This particular paper is 115 gsm per sheet. Each sheet measures 294 x 225 mm which is larger than a standard A4.

Welded tuff thin section slide exhibiting a jumbled mass of irregularly sized broken clasts held in situ by finer ash particles which have become welded together. This material was collected from Cumbria, the original rock is likely rhyolite, and indeed in hand specimen the tuff almost still looks like rhyolite and appears to show a form of banding.
