Atrypa fossil specimens supplied by weight, these highly details fossil shells from Morocco exhibit excellent morphological features such as shell form, shape and ribbing. This makes them ideal for educational use where the morphology of the animal can be discussed and shown. These samples are roughly 10 to 20 mm in size and come available by weight with various options available. Branching coral specimens, dated from the Devonian period, the species is known as thamnopora and belong to the tabulate form of these now extinct species. They clearly depict the colonial nature of this type, the small ‘pits’ on the surface of the coral, would have, during life, been hole, within which the coral polyps resided, emerging to feed, mate and more and retreating inside when potential danger was present. The samples were collected from the Western Sahara region of Morocco, available by weight, the pieces rang in size from 30 mm to 60 mm and come supplied in a polythene bag with an information label. Ideal for kits, sets, craft and educational use, where a numerous pieces may be required for an economical cost.
Syenite thin section slide. The thin sections show a dominant feldspar mass ( orthoclase ) with occurrences of hornblende, amphibole and clinopyroxene. Biotite mica may also be present however its occurrence is rare, The thin section is supplied in a protective card sleeve with a label, ideal for microscopy and educational purposes.

Various goniatite fossil specimens from Alnif, Morocco, supplied by weight with various options available, these hematite stained red fossils show clear suture lines, chambers and coils, they are supplied in whole and partial pieces varying between 10 to 15 mm in size. Dated to the late Devonian period, 372.2 million years ago to 358.9 million years ago these fossils were found in what is now Alnif, Morocco, an area more known for it’s dessert and heat. However, during the late Devonian period, this area was submerged, being a marine environment, in which these various species of goniatites as well as other marine dwelling fauna lived.
