A5 in size, the card contains relevant geological data on both sides. One side contains over 40 different sedimentary logging symbols such as ‘Breccia’, ‘cross bedding’, ‘tuff’, and so forth.. On the opposite side, a wide variety of common geological mapping symbols are printed including ‘inclined strata’, ‘faults’, ‘mineral veins’ etc. Also includes a geological time scale.

Augite andesite igneous rock specimens from Thirlmere, Cumbria, UK which are of late Ordovician age which form part of the Barrowdale volcanic group. The samples are of intermediate composition and contain phenocrysts of the pyroxene mineral, augite, giving the normally dark blue rock a black speckled appearance. The samples are available in 3 sizes and come supplied in a card tray with a label.

The Estwing E6-24PC geological hammer, also known as the ‘Big Blue’ hammer is a pointed tip strike tool which features a wider flat face, delivering more force per strike, making breaking and crushing of rock much easier. Angelite is a popular trade name for a variety of Anhydrite that is light blue-grey in colour, semi-transparent, fine grained and marketed as gem material. These specimens, along with most angelite, are from Lima, Peru and were collected near the Casapalca Mine at Casapalca, Huarochiri Province, Lima Department, Peru.
Specimens of Chalcopyrite, collected from France. Chalcopyrite is a major copper ore. It has a brassy yellow colour and metallic lustre. Over time, this lustre will fade however as oxidation occurs. These specimens are available in multiple sizes and comes in a white card tray with an information label.

Specimens of Pink Agate, collected from India. Agate is a common silicate mineral and variation of chalcedony. These specimens are pale pink in colour with small to moderate amounts of brown agate present. Specimens are available in multiple sizes and come in a white card tray with an information label.
Fluorite crystal bed specimens from Weardale, Co. Durham, UK. Available by weight, these mineral specimens are excellent as they exhibit the fluorite cubic crystal habit and the vast majority of specimens allow this to be viewed with the naked eye. They come supplied in a polythene bag with an information label and are ideal for mass purchasing, such as for museum information tasks, educational use and more.
An off white coloured streak plate made form porcelain, they are used by field geologists and students as a means of performing streak tests on minerals. This test simply involves one, scratching the surface of the tile with a particular rock or mineral, the coloured streak left behind then assists the user in determining the mineral, or minerals within a rock sample.

elenite pencils are exquisite and captivating mineral formations that showcase the natural beauty of selenite, a form of gypsum. Each selenite pencil measures approximately 14cm in height and 4cm in width whilst being smooth and well weighted.
