Pelecypod (bivalve) fossil specimens from Morocco, these excellent samples are perfect for educational use, as they very clearly show morphological details often sought after by teachers on fossils, including the form and shape of the shell, very few of them are deformed, the samples are mostly whole and growth lines on the shell are clearly visible without the aid of magnification. Found in Assa, Morocco, they are of Devonian age, making them over 300 million years old. they have a vibrant orange colour, suitable as they are eye catching, they are between 10 to 20 mm in size and are available in various weights, these fossils will come supplied in a polythene bag with an information label, suitable for economical purchasing where you may require a moderate amount for little cost.

Glycymeris Glycymeris fossil bivalve specimens, these shells, although tarnished yellow still show growth lines, hinges and more, they were excavated from the Red Crag formation in Walton on Naze, UK and are excellent Pleistocene fossil samples for those with an interest in more recent fauna. Shells are approximately 4 to 5 cm in size and come supplied in a card tray with a label.

Excellent examples of bivalve fossil specimens which show the shells have been agatised, giving them an orange almost semi transparent colour and vitreous lustre, the morphology of the shells have been preserved very well as agate weather or deteriorates almost not at all as opposed to other minerals at the surface. The shells are between 20 to 40 mm in size and come from Morocco, unfortunately, for the time being, we do not have much more information regarding them such as specific species or age. But the unique agatisation of the samples makes them much more interesting to observe. Supplied in lots of 5 pieces, they come packaged in a polythene bag with information label.

Branching coral specimens, dated from the Devonian period, the species is known as thamnopora and belong to the tabulate form of these now extinct species. They clearly depict the colonial nature of this type, the small ‘pits’ on the surface of the coral, would have, during life, been hole, within which the coral polyps resided, emerging to feed, mate and more and retreating inside when potential danger was present. The samples were collected from the Western Sahara region of Morocco, available by weight, the pieces rang in size from 30 mm to 60 mm and come supplied in a polythene bag with an information label. Ideal for kits, sets, craft and educational use, where a numerous pieces may be required for an economical cost.

• Species: Orthoceras fluminense
Orthoceral fossil specimens from the limestone deposits located in Erfoud, Morocco, these samples which are Ordovician in age, over 400 million years old, echibit morphological details of the cephalapods shells very well, the separate segments can easily be seen and are between 3 to 6 cm in size and an off white colour. Available by weight, ideal for teaching use, the pieces will come supplied in a bag with a label.
Star Crinoid stems, collected from Morocco. These excellent fossil specimens show the stems of crinoids, a species of echinoderms, similar to brittle stars and star fish from the Silurian period. They show the segments which make up the stem very well, with each segment measuring approximately 1cm in length. Crinoid stems are a useful zoning fossil, these samples are supplied by weight, ideal for educational use, kits, packs and more, where a quantity of them may be required without costing too much. These crinoid stems are an example of a species called pentacrinites, and display a unique star shape. Collected from Morocco, the pieces will come supplied in a polythene bag with a label.
