Prehnite is a well known mineral used as a gemstone, it has a green colouration which can range from striking and vibrant to calm and pale. It is often found with associated zeolite groups of minerals including stilbite, apophyllite and more. It is an alumosilicates and is often found in stalactitic or botryoidal crystal forms, such as the mineral specimens we supply which are mostly botryoidal in form. The samples are also a calming pale green colour and transluscent, letting through some light, they come from Pune (formerly known as Puna) in India, each piece will come supplied in a card tray with an information label.
