Nummulites laevigatus foraminifera fossil specimens within a beige white limestone matrix, these micro fossils are excellent examples of these amoeboid protists, they exhibit exceptional details, dated to the Eocene period, they were found in Soissons, Aisne, France. Epidote and quartz crystals on a matrix collected from Imichil, Er Rachidia, Morocco, these mineral specimens exhibit a rich grass green colouration mixed with the transparency of quartz tips, breaking up the colours. The crystal habit shows a typical radiating sheath form, making the pieces suitable for both collectors and educational use. Pyrrhotite mineral specimens from Evje, southern Norway, the samples are grey in colour and and have a metallic lustre which is very shiny when a fresh surface is exposed, however, these surfaces dull very quickly upon exposure to the air. Noticiably magnetic like magnetite, this iron sulphide mineral is fairly dense, was collected by staff from Norway and is available in a small size only. Supplied in a 2″ x 2″ card tray with a label.
