Like all biotite mica, these specimens are dark in colour, exhibiting a dark grey to black hue. Mica is one of the most common mineral groups, with biotite being the most abundant member. Biotite is very common in igneous and metamorphic rocks, with the dark minerals in granites, pegmatites and gneiss often being due in some part to the presence of this black mica. This massive biotite are available in limited supply so we recommend you move fast if you wish to add a piece to your collection. Supplied in a white card tray with information label.

elenite pencils are exquisite and captivating mineral formations that showcase the natural beauty of selenite, a form of gypsum. They exhibit a pristine translucence that allows light to pass through, creating a mesmerising glow when held to the light. Each selenite pencil measures approximately 14cm in height and 4cm in width whilst being smooth and well weighted. This makes them easy to hold whilst remaining promenant enough to stand out as a decorative piece. They all feature a flat, hexagonal base, making them easy to stand on a range of surfaces. Since these items are made from 100% natural selenite, it is common to expect some slight variance between each specimen, whether that be in shape, size or the occasional scratch. Despite this, these selenite pencils would make a great addition to any room, adding some flair and elegance.
