The PMG-2 proton magnetometer and gradiometer are primarily designed for conducting field surveys of mineral deposits, searching for buried ferrous and other magnetic objects, and locating buried foundations and walls in archaeological sites. Additionally, the PMG-2 can measure the Earth’s magnetic field over a long period and detect daily variations in the magnetic field. The PMG-2 is a rugged, dependable, water, and dust-resistant device that is user-friendly. It can measure the Earth’s magnetic field in the range of 20,000 to 100,000nT, and its FLASH memory has a capacity of up to 1,800,000+ measurements. The data collected by the PMG-2 can be easily transferred to a computer via the USB interface. When measuring on a marked grid, the PMG-2 can automatically increment the position for each measurement on the marked grid line, eliminating the need to reset the position before each measurement. However, the operator must change the line when switching to a new line.

The GS-512i is a 512 channel gamma-ray spectrometer which is designed to aid with field exploration of mineral deposits via gamma spectrometry. This functions by measuring concentrations of naturally occurring isotopes K (potassium), U (uranium) and Th (thorium). The GS-512i allows users to set up eight Regions of Interest (ROI’s) to measure pulse counts in channels and energy ranges defined by the user. The GSP-3 version is standard for this product.

The Ruper hand lens is a renowned magnifier loupe favored by professionals and long-time enthusiasts across various industries. This specific jewelry loupe provides 10x magnification along with a spacious 20mm viewing field, helping reduce eye strain. It also allows users to examine a wide area at once. This Ruper model delivers exceptional clarity in vision thanks to its doublet design with aplantic optics. This means it utilises a combination of concave and convex optical glass to minimize the effects of spherical aberrations.
It’s worth emphasising that Ruper lenses are indeed doublets, despite common misconceptions and sellers’ claims of them being triplets. Their crafting process uses exclusively two optical lenses and a spacer. The lens comes in a stainless steel body with a chrome finish, displaying the ‘Ruper’ name on one side. Another premium magnifier and loupe from this esteemed Japanese brand, it proves invaluable for professionals and enthusiasts in fields like geology, crystallography, and sedimentology for enhanced viewing of rocks, minerals, fossils, and crystals. Additionally, it aids in botanical observations, entomological studies for detailed insect examination, as well as jewelry-making, faceting, and gemstone scrutiny, among other applications where magnification is essential. It comes with a faux leather case. Made in Japan.
Outstanding plastic magnifier lenses featuring a convenient handle, designed for children aged 6 and above to explore the wonders of the natural world, including insects, plants, and fossils. These lenses boast a 4.5x magnification, significantly amplifying their ability to observe small objects. With a 30 mm diameter, the lens ensures wide, high-quality optics without causing eye strain. User-friendly, portable, and crystal clear, these magnifiers are crafted from durable plastics, free from sharp edges or corners. These polycarbonate plastic goggles made from tough durable plastic are impact resistant against the majority of chips and fragments, more so than glass. The goggles are suitable for high hazard environments and are ideal for geologists working in the field breaking rock or extrating fossils & minerals. They are also well suitaed for miners, surveyors, builders and many other professions where the risk of injury to eyes may occur.
A simple easy use plunger which untilises a vacuum to draw out the infected blood and poison from venomous animal bites and stings. Simply draw back the plunger and then apply to the area of attack, press down the plunger and let go, it will then automatically create a vacuum and draw out blood. The kits comes with 4 different nozzle attachments for use with various different forms of bites and stings. Comes packed in a waterproof plastic case and includes easy to read instructions. As more and more work, surveying and exploration for minerals and energy fuels takes us further and further away from urban areas, the need for immediate health and safety measures when working in tropical countries becomes more and more important.
