Quartz produces Gemstones in a variety of colours, and the use of Quartz varies from native weapons to the finest of jewellery. Pyrrhotite mineral specimens from Evje, southern Norway, the samples are grey in colour and and have a metallic lustre which is very shiny when a fresh surface is exposed, however, these surfaces dull very quickly upon exposure to the air. Noticiably magnetic like magnetite, this iron sulphide mineral is fairly dense, was collected by staff from Norway and is available in a small size only. Supplied in a 2″ x 2″ card tray with a label.

Campo del Cielo meteorites found in Santiago Del Estero, Argentina. Comprised mostly of iron with small amounts of nickel, copper and trace elements, these metallic lustre meteorites are well sought after by many due to their economical costs and moderate sizes. Each specimen we have on offer is between 25 to 40 mm in size and comes supplied in a card tray with a label. Excellent specimens for educational use and collections.
