Citrine gemstone bottles containing around 25 ml worth of this popular, vibrant yellow and orange coloured variety of quartz. The pieces, which are 1 to 3 mm in size have been tumbled and polished, sealed within a 50 x 30 mm glass bottle with a cork stopper. An excellent item to give as a gift for those with a love of yellow and orange or interested in gemstones. Citrine, like quartz, takes a good polish and has been used as a semi precious stone for a long time. It forms just like any other quartz, however, the presence of ferric (iron) impurities during formation causes the yellow and orange colour as opposed to being white or clear.
